I brought this cock ring as an affordable upgrade to the Lovehoney Bionic Bullet Vibrating Cock Ring and it truly is an upgrade; the silicon feels amazing and well made, and it’s rechargeable and waterproof, both features not present in my original Bionic Bullet.

First of all, I loved the packaging, a simple red and black clean design that showcases the cock ring floating in the centre. The USB recharging cable and a safety info booklet were neatly hidden behind a red panel.

Getting the cock ring out the box, my first impression was that I love how it feels! It’s super soft, being made of silicone, and feels really sturdy. I can’t see a single seam either, it feels like really good quality and well built model. It also is much lighter than it looks, an important feature for the penis owner to wear in comfort.

After reading the box, which has nice simple operating instructions on it, I plugged the USB charger into one end and the other into my laptop. It was a bit tricky to get to the jack into the end of the vibrating part, the price you pay for it being waterproof! It has a really helpful LED charging light which is red when it is charging and goes green when fully charged.

The vibrations are controlled by a simple click of the on button on the side of the vibrating part. There are 3 constant speeds and 9 patterns to choose from, so you’ll never get bored. I personally prefer the second level constant speed, I’m not much of a power junkie and to me this toy certainly packed enough punch! I think the design is really good, that they managed to get so much power and variation into such a small and light weight package. Pretty impressive!

I trialled the vibrator out with a bit of solo play to find out my favourite setting, something I definitely recommend. For me, the Malesation cock ring makes an excellent solo toy, those raised nodules are a fantastic edition. At first I didn’t get it: the nodules against my clit did lead to a slight tickling sensation which was enjoyable, but not orgasmic. But as I got closer to orgasm, suddenly the extra stimulation from rubbing those raised nodules on my clit felt amazing and lead to a sensational orgasm! Okay, so on to the main event, and this product’s main purpose. The first time my partner tried to get this on he failed. He was pretty hard and tried to slide it down his shaft like he has done with the cheaper cock rings we own, but it wouldn’t slide. It was just too tight. So we actually gave up on it, rather than ruin the mood. It was in the heat of the moment, possibly it’s better to start the session with the cock ring in mind to make sure you give it the time to figure out the best way to get it on.

On the second go, my partner had figured out that the ring, although sturdy, is pretty stretchy. This time he used his fingers to pull it apart then shoved his penis though it and removed his fingers; a much better method! It sat securely at the base of his penis, the button was really easy to access and click on to my favourite setting. He said the ring felt tight, but not uncomfortable, and the vibrations felt nice through his shaft.

We’ve tried it in two positions so far, me on top and doggy style, with the ring flipped upside down. Both felt great for me, I loved the extra clit stimulation, and it definitely sped up my orgasm, although I am blessed with the ability to orgasm from penetration. My partner also lasted longer. If you are new to cock rings, I might go for something cheaper and stretchier, and if you have a lot of girth this is likely to be too tight for you, especially if you’re not used to cock rings or being restricted (although it does stretch quite a lot). However, if you’re already into cock rings this is an upgrade I’d recommend.
