Lovehoney Big Box of Sexual Happiness Sex Toy Advent Calendar Review

The following is a review of Lovehoney’s 2016 sex toy advent calendar. The 2018 advent calendar is now out and contains different products to the 2016 one, you can read my review of it here. LH have revealed all the products you will get in the product images, which you can view here.

I received the Lovehoney Big Box of Sexual Happiness from Lovehoney free of charge in exchange for an honest review. You can read that review on Lovehoney here. They needed the review ahead of the Calendar’s launch date in November. So me and my partner opened our calendar everyday throughout October. Each day we used the product we found and I wrote these posts as we went along. Lovehoney has since revealed the contents of the calendar, removing the surprise aspect for most customers. I’ve decided to post my daily sexual fun anyway as a Christmas feature which will include reviews of a whole lot of Lovehoney toys in a short period of time. It’s also pretty personal at times, some of these toys took me to places I’ve never been before. I’ll link a new day to the bottom of this post each day in December as they are released. I hope you enjoy reading about my daily sexcapades. This first post is from the day I received the calendar before we started opening it.

I am so excited to open my sexy sex toy advent calendar from Lovehoney. It combines 3 of my greatest loves: I love christmas, I love surprises, and most of all, I love sex toys!

I must say, this advent calendar is smaller than I expected. I was picturing this massive square object that would fill up half a wall (I was so excited to receive this product that I was even dreaming about it the night before it was due to arrive; dreams of massive cabinets full of toys, draws of butt plugs, racks of dildos, piles of bullets…. you can see why I might of inflated the size a little). In reality the calendar is the size of a really really big book. The front is around A3 size when closed which is doubled when open.

Lovehoney have done a really good job making the calendar pretty. It’s a pretty purple colour with lots of little hearts all over it. It has a red sleeve around the middle with the lovehoney logo embossed on it, which makes it look like a lovely gift. It really is lovely to look at. Upon opening the two halves of the “book” I am confronted with lots of little windows of different shapes and sizes. I just can’t wait to start opening up the doors and seeing what’s inside. I wait for my husband, as this is definitely a couples activity….
