Have you ever been using a magic wand vibrator and thought “If only I could insert this into my vagina or anus”? It is simple and stylish. There are some operating instructions and a description of the product. When you open up the box the Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator is safely nestled in a plastic mould. There’s nothing wrong with this packaging, but it’s fiddly to keep opening and closing and the cardboard is flimsy and won’t last long. I would have liked the packaging to be a bit more luxury, like Lovehoney’s desire range where each toy comes with a lovely storage case. This toy is special, it deserves a special box!

Appearence & Materials.

Getting the Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator out of the packaging, I can tell straight away it is made from high quality materials. The rich black silicone is velvety soft to the touch. The bunny ears feel flexible and not at all sharp. In fact, I can’t find a single seam in the whole of the rabbit part, a sign of high quality silicone. The base of the Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator, the handle if you will, is made from plastic. The center of it has been coated in the same silicone as the head. The top and the bottom of it are a hard shiny black plastic, and the intensity control wheel is a shiny silver plastic. The whole thing is lovely to look at.

Measuring it up.

The Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator has a whopping 2.5m cable length, plenty of room to play with, especially if you have a power outlet near to your bed. Mine ends in a sturdy UK plug. The handle measures 15cm in length and about 16cm in circumference in the widest part. There is about 11cm of insertable length in the shaft, with a general circumference of 11cm and a larger circumference of 13cm around the hooked head. The rabbit ears part is about 6cm in length. Controlling this bad boy.

There are two sets of controls on the Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator. On the front is an intensity control, which is a scroll wheel. This wheel also acts as your on/off switch, as you can see in the picture. Scroll down to turn on and increase the intensity of the vibrations. Scroll up to reduce the intensity of the vibrations and turn off. This control is simple and intuitive to use.

On the back of the Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator there is a single push button with a picture of a wave on it. This button controls the eight functions. The first function is constant speed of both the shaft and the ears. Setting two turns off the shaft so you can enjoy just the ears. Setting three turns off the ears so you can enjoy just the shaft. Settings four to eight are various patterns.

A fantastic feature of having both sets of controls is you can chose your desired setting and then have it at any required intensity! You can start off with a less intense throbbing then up the intensity to really really powerful throbs if that’s your thing (it’s totally my thing).

Obviously, being mains powered, you have to have the Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator plugged in to an appropriate power socket and switched on at the wall before it will work. Also, as with mains powered wand vibrators, the Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator is fairly loud especially on the higher intensities. Although, having said that, if you have just the shaft on (setting three), it’s much quieter. I might even go as far as to call it discreet. Maybe. But in general, if you want monstrous, amazing, raw and rumbly vibrations, be prepared to make a little noise.

In Use.

There’s no point beating around the bush with this rabbit. I fucking love it! Seriously,  Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator, where have you been all my life?! Never before has a rabbit vibrator fit me so well! Never has it made me orgasm so fast! Never before has my g-spot received such deep and delicious vibrations in just the right spot with just the right intensity! Oh god, I’m turning myself on again just thinking about it.

I thought it could be a fluke, so I’ve used this toy four times before writing this review. It was no fluke. Here’s a run-down of my latest use (the one that’s freshest in my mind).

I warmed up a little with a gentle clit vibe. I need a warm up before I can insert something fairly girthy into my vagina, and I’d definitely count the Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator as one of my girthier toys. Once I’d warmed up I plugged in the Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator and made sure my power socket was switched on. I’m lucky in that I have a power socket right next to my bed, but even if I didn’t the cable is pretty long.  Then I lubed up the whole shaft and ears of the Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator, putting extra lube on my vulva for ultimate comfort. Lube is really, really necessary when you are dealing with this much power!

I then turned on the deep rumbly vibrations to the lowest intensity. Even at the lowest intensity those vibes are strong! I teased the lubed up entrance to my vagina. I found my vagina and vulva really responded to those deep vibrations, they became more relaxed and aroused. Soon I could easily push the shaft of the Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator in to my vagina.

It immediately felt amazing. The hooked end of the shaft expertly sought out my G-spot and transferred deep and satisfying vibrations directly to it. Meanwhile, the ears vibrated against my clit deliciously, hitting all the right spots. Cleaning & Words of Warning.

Clean up of the Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator takes a little thought and caution. Take a look at the warnings issued in the info leaflet pictured below. This toy can come no where near water! That is very very important. You can break it (I think my heart would break too if I broke it at this point), or worse, if it is plugged in you could end up electrocuting yourself. This is definitely not a toy for bathtime fun.

The easiest and safest way to clean it is to use sex toy wipes. You could also wipe it with a cloth that has been sprayed with sex toy cleaner. Basically, you’ll need something a little damp, but not wet, to clean it with. I give it a wipe all over with my sex toy wipes, paying close attention to all the nooks and crannies around the rabbit ears. Then I put it back in its box for safe storage. I really need a better storage solution though.

Summary.

In summary, in case you haven’t caught on yet, I bloody love the Lovehoney Power Play Mains Powered Rabbit Vibrator! It feels incredible, you just can’t beat those deep vibrations paired with lovely material and the perfect rabbit-shape for my vagina. I’m often not keen on rabbit style vibrators, but this one is in a class of its own. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes deep rumbly internal vibrations. I recon it would also make a fantastic prostate massage for experienced anal toy users. However, not having a prostate and only liking small anal toys means I can’t test this theory for you.

My only complaint is that the packaging does not do this toy justice! I wish Lovehoney had launched it as part of their Desire Range with all the luxury touches that comes with those products. However, that’s no reason not to buy it.
