The Calexotics Silhouette Pure Pleasure Clitoral Vibrator has everything I want in a clitoral vibrator; a great shape, versatile stimulation, vibration modes that make sense, made of silicone, waterproof, and it’s USB rechargeable. I won’t beat about the bush, I really like this little vibe.

The packaging is nice and modern. It opens both sides like a book and has magnets to shut it again. The Calexotics Silhouette Pure Pleasure Clitoral Vibrator doesn’t come with a storage bag, which is a shame, but the box is sturdy enough to keep it in.

The first thing that intrigued me about the Calexotics Silhouette Pure Pleasure Clitoral Vibrator is its shape. I’ve not seem a clitoral vibe quite like it before. It has a gentle curve to it which flicks up at the end, reminding me of a tongue. The underside has a row of pronounced ridges that feel soft enough to be gentle but firm enough to add stimulation. There is a faint seam down the center of the toy, and the silicone has a little friction to it. It’s not the best silicone I have ever felt, but it is still pretty nice and a bright vibrant colour.

There are two buttons on the base of the Calexotics Silhouette Pure Pleasure Clitoral Vibrator. You need to hold down the top button to turn it on and off and press the bottom button to scroll through all the vibration settings. I thought it didn’t work the next time I tried to used it because I didn’t hold down the top button for long enough. It does take a good few seconds to buzz into life, and the same again to turn it off. If you think you’ll need to have to turn it off very quickly, or you have problems with grip, this toy may not be the best choice for you.

The Calexotics Silhouette Pure Pleasure Clitoral Vibrator has 10 settings that you can scroll through by clicking the bottom button. There are three constant speeds and then seven patterns. The patterns are mixture between oscillations, pulses, throbbing and jittering. All of them are sensible and feel good. In fact this is one of those rare toys that I appreciate and enjoy the patterns. I’m usually someone who sticks at the constant speeds.

The buttons light up when you’re using or charging the Calexotics Silhouette Pure Pleasure Clitoral Vibrator. The lights reflect the setting you are on, flashing in time with the patterns and getting brighter with higher intensities. This is a fun, if a bit pointless, feature, as you can feel the setting in your hand and won’t be able to see the light when you’re using it.
