Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust Vibrator

I love my bullet vibes. My clit craves the precision of pin point stimulation that hits just the right spots. Rocks-Off make fantastic bullets. They are simple to use, have good motors and are beautiful to look at. I was super excited when they got in touch and asked me if I’d like to review their new range.

The Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator is a new and beautifully fanciful design. In shape it is unlike any other vibe I have tried. It comes packaged in Rocks-Off’s signature tasteful black box with the product encased in plastic and proudly displayed on the front. I couldn’t wait to rip it out of it’s stylish packaging and feel its shiny glory.

Inside the box you will find the Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator and a one year warranty card. The Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator is made from ABS plastic which is a body safe nonporous material. It feels hard and very smooth to the touch. The horn-like detailing is very gentle ridges which you can feel when you run your fingers down the length of the Unihorn. The colouring on the Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator is absolutely divine. It starts of a magenta at the bulbous base which gradually fades into a deep red which then lightens to a warm gold at the very tip of the toy. The colours change with an airbrush effect. The whole thing is very shiny and catches the light in a memorising way. I don’t think my photos really do justice to how pretty the Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator is.

The Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator takes a single AAA battery, which is included inside the toy. To get started you first need to unscrew the base of the toy and remove the paper tab that is on the base of the battery.

The base twists a very small amount and then stops, at which point you can pull the two halves of the Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator apart. Then you can just remove the paper tab and screw the base back together again, being careful to make sure the base is aligned properly and the Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator is properly sealed shut. This is to make sure it stays waterproof.

I ran in to battery-related problems with Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator. First of all, when I tried to turn it on after removing the paper tab and screwing it back together nothing happened. I thought maybe the battery was dead, so I unscrewed it again and tried to take the battery out. It would not come out. I spent ages shaking it upside down before it finally slid out a bit so I could grab it and pull. Then I replaced it and tried again.

This time the Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator came on but just made a very very quiet high pitched sound, rather than vibrating. I took the base off again, poked at the battery but just couldn’t get it out. I soon gave up trying and just screwed it back together. This time the Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator burst into life when I turned it on. I’ve no idea what the factor was, but I think the connection between the motor and the battery isn’t very good. The original battery was not run down at all, it turns out. Perhaps I got a dud one, it could be that they are not all like this, but if you are having problems I would try unscrewing it and screwing it back together again to see if that fixes it. If it doesn’t you have your warranty so you can contact Rocks-Off for a new one.

The Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator has a single control button on the base. To turn it on simply hold it down for a few seconds and it will buzz into life. Then you click the button to scroll through the ten functions. The first three functions are constant vibration modes, each one more intense than the last. Function four to six are pulse modes, each one quicker than the last. Seven is oscillation in a smooth wave, up and then back down again. Eight is oscillation up and then a rapid jump back down to the start of the wave. Nine is two quick pulses followed by one longer one. Ten is four intense quick pulses followed by one quick less intense pulse. Clicking past ten will take you right back to setting one again. To turn the Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator off you need to hold down the button for a few seconds again.

The vibrations are more of the buzzy variety than rumbly. They can be felt along the shaft and in the tip of the Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator. The vibrations are fairly quiet, as this a petite vibrator, and wouldn’t be heard if it is under a duvet and behind a closed door. The vibrations are not super powerful, but then again I wouldn’t want super powerful buzzy vibes, that would be painful. I leave the power to those toys that can rumble.

In use, I found the Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator very nice for a budget bullet vibe. The tip gave me the precision I need and it did bring me happily to orgasm. I found I could use the tip to circle my clit, moving around the spots that really feel good to progress towards a satisfying orgasm. I found the Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator  light and easy to hold and direct. I could also use it to insert into my vagina. Due to its slim diameter and tapered shaft I think this would be a great first toy for people with a vagina who have never inserted before, or people with a new vagina, or people suffering from vaginismus.

Overall, I think the Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator is a good little vibe. It’s really pretty to look at, it’s very affordable at only £19.99 (on 08/12/17) and it can be used in a variety of places. It’s battery can be finicky and it doesn’t have the best motor in the world, but I still think it is decent. If you like your vibes to have a fantasifull feel to them I think you’d find the Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator very enjoyable.

If you’d like to buy your own Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator you can find it here.

I’d like to thank Rocks-off for providing me with the Rocks-Off Unihorn Stardust vibrator free of charge in exchange for an honest review. This in no way altered my opinion of the product.
