I have a few products from the excellent Lovehoney Desire Range and today I’m reviewing one of my favourites for you, the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator. It is one of the original designs from the Desire range and I think the quality of those first few products was higher than some of the subsequent ones. The motors are more rumbly and the storage boxes so much better. The Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator is my favourite G-spot vibe to use; it massages my g-spot so perfectly that I can orgasm without any additional clitoral stimulation, which is rare for me. I’ve had it a while now and thought it was about time I reviewed it.

Packaging

 

The Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator comes in a stylish cardboard box, which is nice an tasteful. The Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator is pictured on the front and on each side there’s a blurb about the Lovehoney Desire Range  and a description of the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator  and its basic features. It’s not sturdy enough to last long, but you don’t need it to.

What you get inside the box

Inside the box you’ll find a wonderful matt black hard back zip up storage box. Inside this is the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator  encased in plastic, a USB charging cable and a little instruction booklet.

Storage Case

I absolutely adore the storage box that the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator  comes with! It is perfect for keeping toys clean and safe, it has a little mesh pocket for keeping the charger in and elastic to hold everything safely in place. It’s plenty big enough to add another couple of toys in there too if you want to keep a few together (toys made of silicone can be safely stored in the same box touching each other). Its double zips can be padlocked together if you’d like to keep the box secure (padlock is not included), and it even has a little hold that you can push the charging cable through should you want to charge the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator  up whilst it’s safely stowed away! Charging Up

Before you can use the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator you’ll need to charge it. The charging port is at the very base of the toy. It is sealed with silicone, so for the first charge you’ll need to push the pin end of the charger in to the port quite firmly to break this seal. Plug the other end in to any USB port. When the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator is charging a LED will flash on and off over the function buttons. Once it is fully charged the LED will stay constantly on. This will take a couple of hours the first time.

Description and Functions of G-spot Vibrator

The Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator  is a wonderful deep purple colour that I find appealing. It has a gun metal coloured ring of ABS plastic on the handle that separates the control buttons from the shaft of the toy. The rest of the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator is coated in a high-quality soft silicone that feels velverty soft when I run it across my skin. There is a little bit of friction though, so I always use water based lube with this toy.

The Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator has a gentle curve to it towards the head of the toy. The head is bulbous and hooked and quite firm (although there is a little bit of give to the silicone). This shape is ideal for stimulating my g-spot.

There are three control buttons that control all the vibrating functions at the base of the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator. A plus button at the top, then a circular function button, and a minus button at the bottom. To turn the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator on, simply hold down the plus button. To turn it off, hold down the minus button. These two buttons also increase and decrease the intensity of vibrations on whichever setting you happen to be on. I like this controls design because it is easy to use and allows you to tailor the vibrations to your personal sensitivity level for optimal enjoyment.

The central cicular button controls the mode that the vibrations are on. The first mode is constant vibration. Following this there are 7 patterns to explore, the first three are pulses, each one faster than the last. The following three are oscillations, each varying on how they ramp up and down the power. The final one is a weird stuttering pattern. My favourites to use are the constant speed (always a winner for me) and the medium speed pulses, it feels like it is throbbing inside me. There are 12 levels of intensity for each setting, which you control using the plus and minus buttons.

Using the Desire G-Spot vibrator

I love using the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator. It’s dual motors produce really strong, rumbly vibrations that my G-spot really responds to. The hooked, bulbous head is the perfect shape for my anatomy and makes finding my g-spot easy.

As the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator is a little on the girthy side for me (I tend to not use many vaginal sex toys, and the ones I do use tend to be slim, so it’s not so much that the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator is really girthy, it just is relative to what I most commonly use), I usually warm up a little first by using the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator to massage my clit. Once I’m ready, I cover the shaft of the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator in water based lube and slowly insert it in to my vagina. I do this slowly so my body can adjust to the girth.

I angle the handle downwards so that the head of the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator  is pushed towards my stomach and the front wall of my vagina, so that it puts pressure on my G-spot. The deep rumbly vibrations do a perfect job of stimulating my G-spot and it quickly builds up to an intense and very satisfying orgasm. Theres something about orgasms arising from G-spot stimulation that makes them feel deeper to me.

Because of the great shape of the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator  I find I can use it in a range of different positions with similar results. If I want to add extra stimulation I can easily pair it with a clitoral vibe, because the handle doesn’t really get in the way at all. If you’ve not been able to find a rabbit that fits your anatomy well I recommend using a toy like the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator alongside a good bullet vibe to DIY a rabbit that will fit you perfectly. Only downside to it is you might need to use both hands.

Clean up

Clean up is easy with warm water and soap because the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator is 100% waterproof. You could also sterilise it using a weak (5%) bleach solution or baby bottle sterilising fluid if you want to share it or you’ve used it whilst having a vaginal infection. Make sure you rise it thoroughly after cleaning.

Conclusions

To sum up, I’m a big fan of the Lovehoney Desire G-Spot Vibrator. It looks good, its got a great motor, the controls are easy to use and have a good range of functions to play with. It’s shape just works well with my body and it easily gets me to orgasm. I love the storage box and I just think it’s a really high quality product. I’ve had it years now and I’ve yet to try another G-spot vibe that suits me as well as this one does.
