We-Vibe Tango X Review

The We-Vibe Tango X bullet vibrator is an upgraded version of We-vibe’s excellent rumbly bullet vibe the Tango. A firm favourite of many sex toy experts, this new version has been improved with better controls, a better magnetic charger, and a silicone coated edge which makes it easier to hold on to than the original. It has lost none of its deep, powerful vibrations and lipstick style shape, which makes the We-Vibe Tango X my new favourite bullet vibrator.

Packaging

The We-Vibe Tango X comes in a stylish and sturdy box, with the bullet vibrator safely stowed in a foam mold inside.

What you get in the box

Inside the box you get the We-Vibe Tango X, a USB magnetic charger, a white satin storage bag, a pjur water based lube sample and an instruction booklet. I love the inclusion of the storage bag, it is perfect to keep the We-Vibe Tango X and it’s charging cable in, as the packing is quite big for a small vibrator.

Charging up

I had issues with charging the original Tango, I found the magnetic charger often came off meaning I’d leave it plugged in and return to find it hadn’t charged at all. I’m happy to report that the We-Vibe Tango X doesn’t have this issue. The charger snaps securely in to place at the base of the We-Vibe Tango X and it charges up fully in about an hour. There is an LED that flashes to let you know it is charging and it will stay on once the We-Vibe Tango X is fully charged.

Controls and Features

There are three control buttons on the We-Vibe Tango X: the plus button turns on the vibrations and increases the power, the minus button turns the vibrations off if held down or decreases the power if clicked, and the wave button changes the vibrations patten. There are seven patterns to choose from and 8 levels of intensity. The controls are easy and straightforward and I love that you can go up and down intensity levels with a simple click. In the original Tango model you had a single button control which was more difficult to get to the setting you wanted and was much less customizable.

Using the We-Vibe Tango X

In use, the We-Vibe Tango X ticks all my boxes for a fantastic bullet vibrator. The tip is made from hard plastic, meaning you can feel the full power of it deep, rumbly vibrations. It has the most rumble and power of any bullet style vibrator I have ever tried, and a decent battery life despite all its power. The silicone base gives it plenty of grip and reduces the transfer of these vibrations to my hand, making it easy to hold on to, and easy to control during masterbation and partnered sex. The lipstick shaped tip means I can use the flat edge for broader stimulation of my clit or the thin tip edge for more precision. I find it really easy to orgasm using the We-Vibe Tango X on my clit, and it also feels great to tease other parts of my body, like my nipples. I’ve not had it long, but the We-Vibe Tango X has become the first toy I go for when I need a quick orgasm, or when I want to add a little extra stimulation to PiV sex. Clean up is easy because We-Vibe Tango X is fully waterproof and made from non porous body safe materials.

Final Thoughts

I absolutely adore the We-Vibe Tango X. It’s everything I want in a bullet vibrator; it’s vibrations are deep and powerful, it is easy to control, hold and use, its looks lovely and feels smooth and wonderful on my skin, and it is fantastic at making me orgasm. I think it has been beautifully designed, I love the midnight blue and bright red versions you can get. Overall, it’s just a good, high quality vibrator, that should be in everybody’s toy box.
